How do I get started? The best way to find out
the true possibilities of what your space can be is to let the professionals
help you design it. We have over 20 years experience in designing and can
make any kitchen more functional while increasing its aesthetic beauty. We
ask many questions during our initial meeting to make sure that we are a
designing YOUR dream kitchen. You are the end user, the one who will live
in the space and utilize the products. We are trained to tune into
your likes and dislikes to create the very best possible design for your
space according to your taste. We will show you what will work and what
won’t. In the end, you will be thrilled that you trusted us to help you
create your dream kitchen!

How Do I Measure?
OPTION 1: You do initial Measurements
We offer free initial design if
you provide the measurements to us. The better your measurements, the closer
we can get to an exact estimate. But don’t worry, once you place an order
with us, we will come to your home and double check all measurements, so
ultimately we are responsible for the final product fitting into your space.
Even with new construction, we can give an estimate off of the blue prints,
but we will always check the measurements once the walls are framed to be
sure there are no surprises after the sheet rock is up.
OPTION 2: We Measure for you
If you prefer for us to do the initial measuring for you, we charge a retainer fee that entitles you to 1 job site visit and copies of
all floor plans, perspectives and elevations. This fee is non refundable,
however will be credited to any orders placed with Custom Kitchens by Design.
This is also a good option if you need copies of the new plans for plumbers
or electricians, but have not finalized your color selections.

What are the
payment terms for placing orders? We require a down payment of
50 percent of the total cost of the job when you sign a contract. The
balances are due as the products are delivered to the jobsite. The cabinets
will need to be delivered 2-4 weeks prior to when the Countertop is
installed. This allows for cabinet installation, countertop templating and
fabrication. The balance of the cabinets will be due when the cabinets are
delivered and the final balance of job will be due when the countertop is
installed.

How much will it cost? The total cost of the job
will largely depend on the type of materials you select and the size of your
project. The only way to get a real idea of what this project will cost you
is to have a design done and choose products. We have done some jobs that
were only a few thousand dollars and have also done some that were a few
hundred thousand dollars and of course everything in-between. The good
news is that whatever your budget, we have the knowledge to make your dream
kitchen a reality and can work with you to find exactly the right product
that will make your budget work. I like to tell our clients that buying a
new kitchen is like buying a new car, except it will increase in value
instead of depreciate when you drive off the lot. The cost will depend
entirely on your tastes, what quality you prefer and how many goodies you
want to include. The important thing is to get a starting point. Until you
have a design done, it is all a guessing game. Once a design is done, we
simply press a button to give you a price.
